The new Lancaster Community Center (LCC) behind the Town Hall is almost ready for its Grand Opening.  Volunteers are planting a butterfly garden on the rear patio and have a very specific list of plants they want to include; they are hoping Lancaster residents have an abundance of these plants in their home gardens and would be willing to dig some up to donate to the Community Center.  That would truly make this a “Community Garden!”  There is a specific list and a planting plan.  Do you have any of the plants on the list in your garden?  The volunteers will be planting on Friday, 5/27.  So, delivery of the plants any time before then to the LCC would be optimal.  If you can donate or assist in planting call the Office of Planning and Community Development (978-368-4007) to schedule delivery.

Blue Heron Pond at Lancaster has received many 'gifts' of perennials from residents who have brought clippings when they move and downsize to our community.  Thank you!
